Olympic Training Center--Colorado Springs

We have lived in Colorado for around 6 years and hadn't made it to the Olympic Training Center yet so we decided we would take a quick trip down to Colorado Springs and check it out before we head off to Arizona. It was interesting although I was somewhat unimpressed. I don't know what I was expecting and don't get me wrong it is cool but it wasn't anything super fancy just your basic things you need to train, and you can train anywhere. It would be nice to come and focus on your sport and not worry about anything else but athletes train all over and I didn't see anything that made me think they would have a huge advantage of training here. Cool to see nonetheless.

Can you feel the Love......

Nothing says I love you like a bunch of candy from the school Valentine Parties
I told Travis not to waste money on roses for me so he bought me this beautiful tulip and iris arrangement. Probably the prettiest one I've seen in a long time. Loved it, even though it's probably a waste of money. He is too good to me.
Reece was cute and made me and Sadie little Valentine Cards while he was at the gym one day.

Dad went ahead and commissioned Landon to make this awesome duct tape roses for me. Best roses I've ever gotten! Love them.
Mom and dad reminded the kids that we do love them and gave them each a balloon and some candy. It was a great day.

Reece quote of the Day

Reece: "Mom, is this straw waterproof?"
Me: "Umm, ya"
Reece: "Wow"

Love it.

100's Day at School for Dayton

Dayton decided to that he would use 100 pieces of gum for his 100 day poster. He did a great job putting it together!
