Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend was a bit crazy. The day before Thanksgiving was Travis's Birthday. I must admit I totally dropped the ball. I love him so much and he never expects anything but it was a bit pathetic. Reece and Sadie helped me make some birthday Key Lime Pie and we sang Happy Birthday but that was about it. For his Birthday we decided to get him some new running shoes and a Garmin watch which are still at the store waiting to get picked up. We went out Tuesday night to try them on and get stuff for Thanksgiving and after getting all the trimmings for Thanksgiving dinner Travis said, oh well, let's just get it later. Later seems to be when we do things for mom and dad. Happy 34th anyway babe--we love you. We also made a trip to the airport to pick up Grandma and Grandpa Honeycutt--yeah family coming to us..love that.
Poor Grandma and Grandpa, Sadie does not like anybody when mom is around. Dayton is not happy about saying goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa and having to go to school.
It was a relaxing but fun weekend with my parents. We had Thanksgiving together and were also joined by the Cope's and the missionaries. I think my dad enjoyed talking the missionaries ears off with all his old mission day stories. It was nice and laid back.
Here are Reece and Sadie testing out the pie. Looks like a hit!
